Vicky Kaushal has officially announced his next project, Mahavatar, a mythological film centered on the "eternal warrior of dharma," Chiranjeevi Parashurama. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film is slated for a Christmas 2026 release.
Meanwhile, Kaushal, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, will also star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War. The epic drama is set to release on March 20, 2026, strategically timed to coincide with the festive period of Ramzan, Ram Navami, and Gudi Padwa.
Ranbir Kapoor is set to headline Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, portraying Lord Rama, with Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Producer Namit Malhotra recently confirmed the two-part epic will premiere on Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumar has secured the Holi release slot on April 18, 2025, promising a vibrant start to the festive season
